Company History
In 1985 a small group of workers decided to establish a company that would manage the public transport system, that until then was provided by a company named TUSA.
The enthusiasm of the founders, the value and originality of the model company, with the help of the metropolitan corporation of Barcelona, permitted TUBSAL (which later changed to TUSGSAL) to start their activities and overcome thier difficulties successfully within their early years.
Since then and during different stages of its development, TUSGSAL has grown with harmony and solidly. Increasing the amount of routes, taking care of the night network (NITBUS) of Barcelona, expanding the quality of its buses, improving their establishment and building a solid company from which it can undertake with warrantees, new projects.
This privileged situation is in no small part due to the exceptional team of workers that TUSGSAL have in place with a model organization and a model of functionality loyal to their origins based on the social economy.
TUSGSAL has always had, and still has a clear voluntarily mission to offer the maximum quality and the highest efficiency to their passengers. The company has as its motto: “by serving the society we serve ourselves.”
